Email Sign-Off
Today I received an email with the sign-off as ‘Warm Regards.” It made me feel wildly uncomfortable and somewhat dirty. I don’t want your warm anything!
When is it appropriate to use Kind Regards, Warm Regards or just Regards. Why not ‘Pleasant Regards’ or ‘Spiteful Regards’?
This will continue to baffle me for my entire working career. At least it was a short week – HAPPY FRIDAY!

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
I always write warm regards!
Just coz it’s hilarious!
Happy mothers day to your mum!!!
I think Pleasant Regards implies more affection than Kind Regards, Best Regards or simply Regards. Warm Regards definitely implies a strong love affection. I wouldn’t use it unless I was speaking with a close family relative or a close friend.
Hi! I was surfing and found your blog post… nice! I love your blog.
Cheers! Sandra. R.
